Store Assistant

About the Role

We seek a skilled and well-organized Store & Production Planning Assistant to manage daily inventory functions, coordinate production scheduling, and supervise shop-floor personnel. This position ensures seamless manufacturing operations by eliminating material shortages and facilitating smooth workflows.

Key Duties

• Manage comprehensive store operations including the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
• Maintain ideal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Perform regular physical stock audits, reconciliations, and cycle counts.
• Implement organized and clean storage solutions following 5S principles for material traceability and safety.
• Prepare daily inventory records and data entries, primarily using Excel.
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to devise effective daily and weekly production schedules that align with raw material availability and delivery commitments.
• Supervise production processes to ensure timely completion and target output achievement.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure prompt ordering and restocking of materials.
• Lead and manage storekeepers, floor staff, and production workers, including task delegation and training.
• Track staff productivity, attendance, and compliance with safety standards, specifically PPE usage.
• Address workplace conflicts and maintain a positive, orderly environment.
• Organize shift patterns and oversee overtime to balance labor costs with production demands.
