Stock Unloader Associate

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the Receiving Area and efficiently unload general merchandise trailers, including finishing live unloading activities.
• Maintain cold chain protocols for refrigerated and frozen goods and transport pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Support sales floor stocking activities and assist customers as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Organize overstock by labeling and placing merchandise in designated areas to facilitate effective inventory management.
• Adhere strictly to company policies to keep the workspace safe, clean, and hazard-free, including completing safety sweep logs and securing fixtures and displays.
• Be adaptable to varied shift schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands and sustain smooth operations.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Manage a high workload in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts, while maintaining energy and focus.
• Efficiently complete large amounts of restocking and recovery accurately and on schedule.
• Perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts of up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing products with consistent attention to detail and adherence to store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $17.75 per hour.
