About the Company
Battery Smart operates one of India’s biggest and fastest-expanding battery-swapping ecosystems for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The network spans more than 1,600 swap points nationwide and supports over 1 lakh drivers every day.
Role Overview
The Station Operator Team Leader will oversee day-to-day activities at assigned battery-swapping locations. The role focuses on guiding station operators, keeping operations running efficiently, maintaining correct inventory records, upholding safety standards, and ensuring customers receive a dependable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support station operators in their daily work at the station.
- Keep battery swapping activities running smoothly and efficiently.
- Track battery stock, charging progress, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure the station remains active, prepared, and ready for operations.
- Inspect batteries, chargers, and other station equipment on a routine basis.
- Follow and enforce safety procedures as well as operating guidelines.
- Address customer complaints or escalations and work toward quick resolution.
- Monitor station output, productivity, and performance indicators.
- Work with maintenance and operations teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Compile operational updates and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Train team members and keep track of their performance.
- Plan shifts and allocate manpower according to operational needs.
Requirements
- Qualification should be ITI, Diploma, or a graduate degree in any field.
- Relevant experience of 1 to 4 years in operations, warehouse work, logistics, EV, automotive, or team management roles.
- Prior experience handling field teams or operational staff is preferred.
- Comfort using mobile applications and basic reporting tools.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Additional Information
Industry: EV Infrastructure / Battery Swapping
Location: Nearby location, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Compensation: ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month, plus PF and ESIC benefits.
