Role Overview
The Staff Software Engineer will be the lead technical individual contributor on the engineering team, responsible for comprehensive ownership of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and full-stack application support within TTG's software platform. This role demands leadership in technical decisions across AWS services, Kubernetes, C#/.NET development, databases, messaging systems, and implementation of AI-enhanced engineering workflows. Mentoring peers and influencing development processes while delivering hands-on technical contributions are key aspects.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, build deployment artifacts like Docker images and ZIP files, and manage Kubernetes deployment configurations using YAML and kubectl.
- Create Linux scripts that aid in cluster management, automate deployment and operational tasks, and resolve infrastructure challenges in distributed systems.
- Develop full-stack applications using C#, T-SQL, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS; troubleshoot issues spanning UI, APIs, databases, messaging, and deployment.
- Maintain core services utilizing ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM; support integrated platforms such as Umbraco and Identity Server.
- Oversee integrations between internal and external systems, manage Git workflows including branching, reviews, and deployments.
- Perform database management using SQL Server and MongoDB/DocumentDB; design and support event-driven messaging architectures leveraging MassTransit and brokers like SQS, RabbitMQ, or Apache MQ.
- Apply AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Devin to enhance code development, debugging, documentation, and pull request processes; evaluate and govern AI-generated code and infrastructure scripts.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and architectural leadership to engineers; participate in planning, releases, and team onboarding.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years in software, DevOps, or platform engineering with senior or lead individual contributor experience, including solid hands-on AWS infrastructure management.
- Proficient in full-stack development with C#, T-SQL, ServiceStack, LLBLGen ORM, and front-end technologies like Vue, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience establishing and managing CI/CD processes with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting on Linux.
- Knowledgeable in relational and document databases such as SQL Server and MongoDB/DocumentDB; skilled in message-driven architectures using MassTransit and messaging brokers.
- Expertise in Git-based version control systems and workflows (GitHub/GitLab) including branch strategies and code reviews.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in mentorship and technical decision-making while maintaining hands-on contribution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging AI coding assistants to improve engineering efficiency and code quality.
- Familiarity with CMSs like Umbraco and identity platforms such as Identity Server.
- Background supporting complex distributed systems through development, deployment, and production troubleshooting stages.
Why Work at TTG?
- Extensive domain expertise with over 25 years building specialized software for direct selling and MLM industries.
- Stable environment supported by Fluent Software Group with a strong product-focused culture.
- Opportunity to lead technically and influence mature DevOps and engineering practices on a widely-used platform.
