Speech AI Evaluation Specialist - Chinese Simplified

Role overview

This is an hourly contract opportunity for a remote specialist focused on evaluating speech AI interactions in Simplified Chinese. The role is centered on short voice-based conversations with AI models, checking how well the system responds, and helping improve the quality of Chinese language AI outputs.

Compensation and schedule

The engagement pays $8 USD per hour. Workload is flexible, with an expected commitment of 10 to 40 hours each week.

What you will do

• Take part in brief voice conversations with AI models through the assigned platform.
• Use the supplied prompts and scenario details during each interaction.
• Assess AI responses for relevance, accuracy, clarity, and overall quality.
• Submit objective ratings and written feedback following the project rules.
• Complete tasks while meeting the expected quality and productivity standards.
• Contribute to the refinement of Chinese language AI systems through voice evaluation work.
• Work independently and consistently maintain quality in a remote setup.

What we are looking for

• Solid fluency in Chinese at a standard working level.
• Strong English skills at fluent or advanced level.
• Ability to judge AI-generated content for correctness, relevance, and quality.
• Previous exposure to AI or data-focused work such as machine learning workflows, data collection, data review, quality assurance, or annotation is an advantage.
• Careful attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Comfort working independently in a flexible remote environment.
• A dependable internet connection and a suitable device for voice-based tasks.
