Role Overview

Our Software Engineers are integral to evolving advanced, real-time backend and robotics platforms. They develop a versatile system that connects robots, sensors, and manufacturing infrastructure with state-of-the-art algorithms, enabling breakthrough solutions in manufacturing automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop modular, concurrent, and distributed software systems for tasks including perception, planning, and execution, emphasizing strong multithreading and synchronization techniques.
• Create robotic welding functionalities with automated testing while ensuring real-time performance and deterministic behavior.
• Integrate components such as computer vision, motion planning, and robot control systems within an industrial robotics framework.
• Diagnose and resolve complex challenges relating to real-time motion control, perception workflows, and multi-package software integration.
• Participate in code reviews, and author thorough unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

Technical Environment

• Utilize C++ to build high-performance, real-time systems.
• Work with ROS and ROS2 frameworks, including publishers/subscribers, services, and multi-package ecosystem integration.
• Use build systems like Catkin and Colcon with CMake.
• Manage code and deployments with tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform on AWS, and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a relatable field, or comparable hands-on expertise.
• Between one to two years of experience deploying production robotics or C++ systems.
• Proficient in C++ programming and experienced in ROS/ROS2, including knowledge of node lifecycle management.
• Comfortable working with CMake, Catkin/Colcon workspaces, and managing software dependencies.
• Strong skills in multithreading, concurrency, and designing thread-safe, deterministic real-time systems.
• Experience with version control using Git, containerization with Docker, and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in robotics areas such as motion planning, perception, or control using real hardware.
• Background in real-time or safety-critical systems and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with computer vision and sensor integration in industrial settings.
