Its work is centered on producing meaningful storytelling that both informs and engages audiences. The company has built a name for itself in the Ugandan entertainment space by supporting creative projects that inspire viewers and listeners.
Alongside its own productions, the company helps Ugandan artists release and distribute music through major streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Audio Mack. It also publishes and promotes digital material across social channels, including music, videos, entertainment updates, and promotional content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
Role Summary
The Social Media Manager will lead the planning and delivery of social content for Mpiima Media Group. This is a full-time position based in Entebbe, with some flexibility to work from home. The role calls for a hands-on professional who can build content plans, manage day-to-day platform activity, and strengthen audience engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
Key Duties
The position includes creating, scheduling, and organizing content that fits each platform and target audience. The selected candidate will oversee daily posting activity, respond to comments and direct messages, and improve content performance through reach and engagement optimization. The role also covers the development and execution of campaigns that support artists, new releases, and company projects, plus the preparation of regular performance updates and reports.
Another important part of the job is working closely with content creators, artists, and internal teams to keep messaging aligned with brand goals and the company’s educational mission.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should bring practical experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related area. Experience within music or entertainment is considered an advantage. Strong familiarity with major social platforms and current content trends is important, as is the ability to use analytics tools to track results and improve performance.
Successful candidates will also need solid communication and writing skills, the ability to develop content strategies, and the organizational strength to handle several campaigns and deadlines at once.
