Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Site Supervisor to manage field operations for commercial interior construction projects based in Williams Lake, British Columbia. The role involves relocating or traveling to Williams Lake for project duration. Reporting to the Interior BC District Manager, this role is key in overseeing daily site activities, subcontractor supervision, quality management, and ensuring safe and efficient site progress.

Primary Duties

• Oversee daily on-site activities for commercial interior projects from shell to full tenant fit-out.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors across various construction trades.
• Ensure correct sequencing in all building systems, including structural framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, medical gas, drywall, ceilings, millwork, glazing, and finishes.
• Coordinate multiple trade installations simultaneously, even in occupied or active environments.
• Proactively identify inter-trade conflicts and resolve them to prevent project delays.
• Maintain tight control over site logistics including sequencing, access, staging areas, and material handling.
• Schedule material procurement and deliveries aligning with project timelines.
• Uphold rigorous quality standards throughout all construction phases.
• Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC standards.
• Maintain clean, professional, and organized job sites.
• Support site inspections ensuring all work aligns with plans, specifications, and regulatory codes.
• Communicate effectively with project management about schedules, risks, and site needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 7 years in commercial construction, especially in interior buildouts from shell condition.
• Proven experience as a Senior Site Supervisor, Superintendent, or Lead Foreman.
• Background in medium to large-scale commercial, institutional, or healthcare construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of complex construction sequencing and managing multiple trades.
• Proven capability to lead active job sites independently with minimal oversight.
• Deep technical understanding of building systems and interior assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans, drawings, and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing work in operational healthcare or institutional settings considered a strong advantage.
