Job Overview
The Site Engineer is tasked with comprehensive project and site coordination duties delegated by the Project Manager. Projects occur within various client locations, and the Site Engineer holds responsibility for evaluating subcontractors' performance to ensure alignment with predetermined schedules and budgets, satisfying client and facility management expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Company’s liaison with subcontractors during project phases, supporting the Project Manager.
- Track and follow through on project-related instructions and commitments.
- Supervise contractor activities on site ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
- Assist in managing essential documentation including Project Daily Reports, Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Control Plans to guarantee project targets are met or exceeded.
- Assess project performance against time and financial constraints.
- Communicate project progress and performance metrics to the management team.
- Implement modifications in project workflows to address operational inefficiencies.
- Coordinate resources for each assignment, encompassing inputs from offices, sub-consultants, and suppliers, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Project Manager and collaborate with Facility Management teams promoting best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Over three years of construction experience in significant UAE projects, preferably within airport environments, functioning as part of the Main Contractor team.

- Knowledge of Property and Facilities Management.

- Performance management proficiency.
- Ability to supervise contractors effectively.

- Successful delivery of minor works projects within time, quality, and budget criteria.
- Timely and accurate project reporting.
