Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily activities at our construction site located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role involves supervising site workers and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily site operations including the supervision of laborers, subcontractors, and trade teams.
• Ensure all construction work aligns with architectural and structural plans, project specifications, and adhere to deadlines.
• Regularly inspect the site to assess progress and verify the quality of completed tasks.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment to avoid shortages or project delays.
• Handle material deliveries by confirming quantities against purchase documents and checking for any damage.
• Maintain comprehensive daily logs documenting labor attendance, site activities, weather conditions, and material receipts.
• Support measurement of completed work quantities necessary for subcontractor invoicing and progress tracking.

Requirements and Skills

• Ability to read and interpret 2D architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Basic understanding of construction techniques, concrete technology, and building material testing.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 12,000 and 20,000 INR.
