Shift Leader

Overview

As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play a crucial role in leading our team and supporting the core mission of delivering passionate food, heartfelt service, and a proud ambiance in our restaurant. This role places you at the center of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will contribute to creating an engaging and welcoming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in fostering a lively, friendly atmosphere for customers during your shift.
• Oversee daily store operations and take charge of team management throughout assigned shifts.
• Participate directly in cooking and preparing guest-favorite dishes.
• Develop a broad skill set that supports personal and team growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of some high school education is required.
• Previous experience in operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must meet local or municipal food safety requirements, such as obtaining Food Handler certification at personal expense.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods (up to four hours), lifting weights up to 50 pounds, working in hot and noisy kitchen conditions, and reaching across counters up to 36 inches.
• Proficient in operating kitchen tools such as the Chinese cook knife, and capable of maintaining accuracy and speed under pressure.
• Good verbal communication skills, adaptability to dynamic work settings, and competence in handling conflict or challenging situations effectively.
