Shift Lead

Role Overview

The Shift Lead at Mo' Bettahs undertakes all responsibilities typical of Team Members, while additionally overseeing the seamless operation of shifts. This leadership role becomes crucial when the General Manager or Manager in Training is unavailable, ensuring maintenance of company standards across various operational facets including product prep, service delivery, customer engagement, facility upkeep, and team leadership.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth shift operations and step into leadership during manager absence.
• Ensure adherence to company policies in areas such as food preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and team coordination.
• Support the team in delivering prompt and accurate service to customers.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license mandatory.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States required.
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not compulsory.

Working Conditions

The role demands physical capabilities such as clear verbal and auditory communication, mobility including stair climbing, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Extended periods of sitting or standing are expected. Work may also involve outdoor exposure to diverse weather conditions and prolonged computer usage involving screen interaction and input devices. Travel by car or other transportation means could be necessary for business purposes. The role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring alertness and sobriety. Candidates must disclose any medication that might impair job performance. Routine workplace stress is to be anticipated.
