Service Planner - Hygiene

About the Role

Join Rentokil Initial as a Service Planner within our Initial Hygiene team, located in Wellington or Palmerston North. In this essential position, you will ensure the flawless operation of service schedules, enabling our technicians to provide outstanding hygiene and pest control services. Your organizational skills and problem-solving ability will help maintain seamless communication and efficient planning between sales and service departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly technician schedules.
• Optimize technician routes in Auckland to lower travel times and enhance field productivity.
• Confirm appointments with clients and promptly inform them of any scheduling updates.
• Coordinate urgent requests by liaising between sales teams and technicians.
• Address scheduling gaps arising from cancellations, rebookings, technician availability, or adverse weather conditions by reassigning appointments effectively.
• Ensure timely scheduling and completion of all maintenance treatments.
• Maintain precise service documentation and update company systems accordingly.
• Resolve service-related issues or complaints efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with technicians, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Provide routing and appointment confirmation assistance to other regions when required.
