Service Driver

Overview

We are looking for a Service Technician / Driver to join the Bristol branch team and cover Gloucester, Bath, Swindon, and nearby areas. This is a hands-on field role suited to someone who enjoys driving, organising their own day, and delivering strong customer service. No previous experience is needed because full training is provided.

What the Role Involves

You will travel to multiple customer sites to service washroom products. The range of items handled may include feminine hygiene units, nappy bins, air fresheners, soap dispensers, and floor mats.

Key Duties

• Collecting, loading, and unloading washroom units and floor mats at customer locations.
• Driving safely at all times and keeping the vehicle in good condition.
• Following the company’s safe driving guidance and maintaining a professional standard on every visit.
• Delivering a high level of customer service and representing the business well.

Pay and Earnings

The basic annual salary is £26,655, plus a £1,000 yearly allowance. Expected overall earnings are £27,500 per year, with additional bonus and commission opportunities available.

Working Pattern

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week. There is also the possibility of the role increasing to up to 48 hours in the future, with a higher salary attached.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to business needs.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and maintain a positive, can-do approach.
• Personal pride in delivering quality work.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check if required for the position.
• Physical fitness for lifting and handling units and floor mats.
