Job Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and results-focused professional to join our regional logistics team as a Senior Specialist for Rider Payments. This role involves the design, analysis, and refinement of rider payment and incentive frameworks spanning 16 diverse markets. Serving as the link between strategic business objectives and operational execution, you will optimize rider incentives to improve earnings, satisfaction, and overall performance while ensuring sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine rider incentive models, establishing governance frameworks that balance regional consistency with local customization, aligning payments with business goals, logistics KPIs such as delivery time, and rider satisfaction.
• Continuously analyze the financial effects of payment structures, monitor cost-per-order metrics, and maintain alignment with profitability targets while securing adequate rider availability and retention.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of extensive datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within rider payments and logistics operations, translating findings into strategic recommendations.
• Lead the regional rollout of advanced data science models and automation tools designed to enhance rider payment systems and operational efficiency.
• Innovate incentive systems by introducing new pay components like dynamic pricing, surge incentives, and quest rewards, supporting testing and implementation to boost logistics outcomes and order acceptance rates.
• Collaborate closely with the central product team to influence payment-related feature development by translating business requirements, participating in testing, and ensuring smooth adoption of new functionalities.
• Manage relationships with operations, finance, product, and local logistics teams to understand market-specific challenges, implement optimized incentive structures, and promote scalable logistics strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in fast-paced technology companies, logistics, strategy consulting, or investment banking. Experience in the gig economy, marketplace operations, or logistics is highly advantageous.
• A university degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong technical skills including proficiency with Excel, SQL, and Looker to independently analyze data and build reliable models.
• Excellent communication abilities in English, comfortable challenging the status quo and negotiating with senior-level stakeholders.
