Your Role and Impact

• Design and implement user-facing features used by millions, steering the technical direction with a focus on AI-driven collaboration solutions.
• Lead by example as a mentor and technical role model, promoting code excellence, comprehensive testing, high reliability, and operational standards.
• Advocate AI-first engineering principles, integrating advanced AI tools to accelerate feature delivery and elevate productivity.
• Manage DevOps and microservices architecture, ensuring scalable, resilient, and efficient system deployments and operations.
• Approach complex technical challenges using data-driven decision-making and adaptable strategies amidst evolving landscapes.
• Own critical projects end-to-end, from architectural design and testing automation to resolving urgent production challenges.
• Support team growth by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers and collaborating with senior engineers to advance technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in analytical fields such as Computer Science or Software/Electronic Engineering.
• At least 7 years of professional software development experience, primarily using Java, Python, or C++, with an emphasis on Java microservices development.
• Proven expertise in leading high-level design and architecture of distributed multi-service systems and establishing cross-team API standards.
• Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code methodologies for robust system availability.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• In-depth knowledge of advanced Java and Spring Boot ecosystem, including microservices patterns like event sourcing, CQRS, and WebSockets.
• Experience developing automated testing strategies encompassing contract, performance, load testing, and chaos engineering.
• Track record in mentoring engineers, conducting thorough code reviews, and onboarding new team members.
• Established leadership in AI-first engineering practices utilizing LLM-based tools for development tasks such as scaffolding, safe refactoring, and test generation.
• Skill in balancing and communicating complex technical trade-offs aligned with business product objectives, and managing technical debt effectively.
