Penta Consulting is a technology services company that works with clients across EMEA through outsourced professional and managed solutions. The company is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer in Doha, Qatar to support a well-regarded client.

Role overview

This position focuses on building and supporting telecom charging platforms, with an emphasis on Oracle ECE and related service-control technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and support real-time charging platforms based on Oracle ECE for telecom use cases including data charging and converged charging.
• Create and adapt ECE extensions for pre-rating, post-rating, post-charging, and post-update processes.
• Connect ECE with BRM, PDC, mediation platforms, PCRF/PCF, and 5G CHF.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and operate ECE in both standalone and Active-Active geo-redundant setups.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Oracle ECE architecture, core components, and deployment patterns.
• Practical experience performing ECE installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle OC3C architecture and the service control environment.
