Senior Software Engineer

About the Position

Affinity Global Markets Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the end-to-end software development process. You will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and refining robust applications, as well as steering architectural decisions and uplifting the capabilities of the technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and launch efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Lead discussions focused on software architecture and identify opportunities for technical advancement.

• Perform detailed code reviews to enhance speed and reliability of systems.

• Diagnose and solve intricate technical challenges, ensuring enduring solutions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related major.
• At least five years of hands-on professional experience in software development roles.
• Expertise in one or more leading programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud technology stacks including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture and established design patterns.
• Proficient use of CI/CD tools, source control, and practice of agile development methodologies.
• Strong skills in problem analysis and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with microservices frameworks.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in large-scale application design and system architecture.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities or mentoring experience.
