Senior Project Manager - PV & BESS

Overview

Join as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for leading the execution of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This role encompasses managing both commercial and technical aspects from contract signing through project completion and commercial handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and contractors to uphold strict health, safety, and quality standards throughout projects.
• Oversee EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) activities and deliverables, facilitating regular team meetings and ensuring documentation of minutes and actionable tasks.
• Manage project contracts, milestones, and deadlines efficiently.
• Handle financial management of projects including invoice approval and budget control.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders to align project objectives and requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through processes related to best practices, valuation, knowledge sharing, and internal tools enhancement.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated success in project management, particularly during the construction phases of grid-connected solar projects.
• Capability to operate remotely with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation within a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while managing time and budget constraints.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building cooperative and productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners to ensure project completion.
• A proactive, detail-oriented work ethic.
• Experience working in Germany and proficiency in the German language required.
