Role overview
This is a senior product leadership role for a candidate based in the United States. The position is posted on behalf of a partner company, which will handle applications and all later hiring steps.
You will lead product direction for enterprise technology solutions serving the automotive sector. The focus is on turning complex customer and business needs into scalable platform capabilities that improve the customer experience and support the future of automotive retail.
In this role, you will act as the main product contact for large enterprise customers and work closely with engineering, architecture, customer success, program management, business, and product marketing teams. You will own strategy, roadmap planning, and feature execution while contributing to cloud-native, AI-driven product innovation.
Key accountabilities
- Act as the primary product liaison for enterprise customers, guiding requirement conversations, roadmap reviews, prioritization discussions, and strategic product alignment.
- Convert detailed customer needs such as compliance rules, data standards, integrations, and workflow requirements into practical product direction and actionable specifications.
- Maintain the product roadmap by balancing customer demand, platform scalability, business goals, and the longer-term product vision.
- Work with engineering, solutions architecture, program management, customer success, and product marketing to design and ship enterprise platform functionality.
- Lead discovery work to understand customer pain points, identify opportunities, and shape future product enhancements.
- Define success measures, track adoption and performance, and use both quantitative and qualitative insights to decide what to build next.
- Prepare and update product documentation, including business requirement documents, product requirement documents, technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Represent customer and product viewpoints in executive reviews, strategic planning meetings, and cross-functional roadmap sessions.
- Keep up with market trends, competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and new technologies affecting enterprise automotive platforms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience, including 2 or more years working on enterprise or B2B SaaS products with integrations, APIs, or platform-level capabilities.
- Background in the automotive industry, automotive retail technology, dealership platforms, CRM, digital retail, or similar enterprise solutions.
- Direct experience working with large enterprise customers or strategic partners in a client-facing product leadership capacity.
- Solid technical knowledge of APIs, data models, system integrations, and platform architecture, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience using AI-enabled product development methods and modern AI tools.
- Proven ability to produce detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical ability to define KPIs, interpret usage data, and make decisions based on evidence.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills, including the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort handling several priorities and cross-functional initiatives with limited supervision.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms, marketplace ecosystems, OEM programs, dealer technology integrations, or AI-powered products is strongly preferred.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range is USD 115,875 to USD 193,000, depending on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
There may also be eligibility for equity and performance-linked incentives.
