Role and Impact
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join an experienced and dynamic team at an early-stage startup. You will act as a versatile product owner reporting to the Lead Product Manager, dedicated to creating value for homeowners and contractors by managing the entire product value chain. Your responsibilities will include shaping product initiatives and driving execution through continuous feedback cycles, embracing deep focused work with minimal meetings and strong collaboration in person.
With advancements in AI increasing productivity among designers and engineers, this role demands rapid innovation to launch new products serving contractors, internal operations, and B2B partners, taking concepts from inception through realization.
Key Qualifications
- At least five years of professional experience in product management, preferably in a fast-paced software environment.
- Ability to balance customer needs, technical limitations, and business goals using both intuition and data-driven decisions.
- Passion for engaging with users, synthesizing insights, and creating clear documentation to guide the team.
- Strong systems thinking focused on end-to-end value, eager to understand the real-world environments users operate in.
- Comfort with ambiguity, adept at framing complex challenges and driving progress despite incomplete information without over-processing.
- Excellent conflict resolution and coordination skills, fostering diverse perspectives and swift, thoughtful decision-making followed by committed execution.
- Proficiency in breaking down complex projects into manageable parts, prioritizing trade-offs, and securing incremental value through rapid feedback loops.
- Enthusiasm for on-site collaboration, including workshops and direct interaction with users; candidate must be located within 50 miles of Denver, CO or willing to relocate.
Preferred Experience
- Background in large-scale consumer or B2B software products.
- Expertise with mobile and web software releases.
- Keen understanding of workflows, systems, and tools used in operations.
- Industry knowledge in residential construction, electrification, HVAC, CAD, solar energy, or energy sectors.
- Previous work at early-stage startups.
