Role Overview
We invite applications for a proactive Strategic Sourcing Manager role, entrusted with spearheading category management for Colocation Services, Renewable Energy, and Fiber Operations & Maintenance (O&M). The role encompasses strategizing sourcing frameworks, overseeing supplier partnerships, negotiating commercial contracts, and driving cost efficiencies while ensuring operational excellence and fostering business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement sourcing strategies across colocation/data center services by managing procurement of colocation spaces and power with supplier evaluations focused on cost-effectiveness, scalability, resilience, security, and service delivery.
- Manage renewable energy procurement and sustainability agendas by collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote decarbonization and ESG goals; conduct analyses of energy markets, tariffs, and supplier alternatives to optimize costs.
- Oversee sourcing and management of vendors for fiber network maintenance and restoration services, including contract negotiation for preventive and corrective maintenance and ensuring vendor preparedness for critical network restoration tasks.
- Create and update rate cards for ISP vehicles, patrolling vehicles, and FRT used across various business units.
- Coordinate comprehensive sourcing activities such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection processes.
- Drive the end-to-end contracting process with expertise in contractual clauses relevant to onboarding suppliers across colocation, fiber services, and renewable energy sectors.
- Maintain effective supplier relationship and stakeholder engagement to support ongoing business operations.
- Prepare various KPIs and reports, manage databases diligently.
- Conduct market intelligence, supplier benchmarking, and execute spend optimization measures.
- Identify and implement initiatives for cost reduction and value enhancement.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure procurement adheres to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate support for both internal and external audits.
- Maintain procurement documentation, approvals, and reporting workflows.
- Champion ethical sourcing and support sustainability efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering accompanied by an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant exposure in telecom, digital infrastructure, data center operations, hyperscalers, or renewable energy industries.
