Senior Graphic Designer

Overview

Based at our Williamsburg, Brooklyn headquarters, this full-time, on-site role invites a skilled and passionate graphic designer to focus primarily on creating graphics for apparel and accessory collections. You will develop designs for men’s, women’s, and children’s items, contributing to both our in-line collections and exclusive store and web programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, conduct research, and gather references for graphic apparel collections.
• Create original graphic designs across apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, etc.) and lifestyle accessories.
• Design graphics tailored for in-store, online, and location-specific collections.
• Collaborate closely with teams including merchandising, product development, technical design, and manufacturing both domestically and overseas to produce high-quality items.
• Present design ideas and concepts to senior leadership including the CEO/creative director.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of collections from ideation through production.
• Prepare technical specification packs for approved designs.
• Manage projects within tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor product lifecycle steps including selections of color, fabric, artwork, branding, and production techniques.
• Managerial experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 6 to 8 years in graphic apparel design or a closely related sector.
• Proven expertise in designing graphics specifically for application on apparel.
• Ability to create original graphics, including wordmarks and logos, that align with the brand’s visual identity.
• Familiarity with embellishment, printing, and finishing processes.
• Understanding of product development workflows, including factory collaboration using PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software and creation of detailed tech packs.
• Strong skills in graphic design software and preparation of print-ready files for manufacturing.
• Experience navigating product development calendars and timelines.
