About the Role

Grin Creative, a Melbourne-based agency renowned for award-winning creative work since the late 1990s, is seeking an experienced senior graphic designer to join their close-knit team in Fitzroy, Victoria. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with fellow designers, art directors, and clients to deliver tailored and thoughtful design solutions spanning branding, print, and digital media.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the entire design workflow from ideation to final artwork production.
• Work alongside the team on branding strategies and art direction initiatives.
• Create striking, high-quality visual designs for both digital and print platforms.
• Ensure consistency in design standards and maintain a high-quality bar on every project.
• Keep updated with new tools, industry trends, and best practices in design.

Candidate Profile

• A diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, web, and digital design.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional design experience.
• Proficiency with digital publishing platforms.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry design software.
• Solid understanding of core design principles such as typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Excellent conceptual thinking with keen problem-solving skills related to design challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage deadlines while preserving design quality.
• Additional illustration or animation skills will be considered advantageous.
• A positive attitude, good sense of humor, and strong team player ethos.
