This opportunity is with a pioneering climate-tech venture dedicated to carbon removal methods including regenerative agriculture, afforestation, biochar, and enhanced rock weathering. Their operations currently prevent over one million tons of CO2 emissions globally. As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a critical role in advancing their digital Measurement, Reporting & Verification (dMRV) SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of frontend architecture for the dMRV platform.
• Create responsive, scalable, and modular UI components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js frameworks.
• Convert complex data and methodologies into user-friendly visual dashboards and workflows.
• Collaborate with backend teams integrating APIs (FastAPI/Django) to ensure smooth data flow and optimal user experiences.
• Implement coding best practices, maintain high code quality, and optimize UI performance.
• Work closely with design and backend teams to iterate rapidly and launch impactful features.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to building team expertise and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure frontend solutions comply with the latest security protocols and performance standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of frontend development experience in dynamic product environments.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and contemporary UI architectural patterns.
• Experience using state management tools such as Redux and Zustand.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, user authentication, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Recharts and D3.js, alongside component design systems.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude with an ownership mindset and strong communication skills.
• Advantageous: experience working with geospatial data, mapping frameworks like Mapbox or Leaflet, or involvement in climate tech or sustainability-focused products.
