Role Overview

As the inaugural Senior FP&A Manager, you will spearhead the establishment of the financial planning and analysis function, directly reporting to the CFO. Your key responsibilities include managing the group's forecasting, enhancing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and liquidity management, and acting as a vital collaborator in fundraising, board reporting, and go-to-market financial assessments. This role offers significant visibility and autonomy, ideal for those eager to build foundational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated business planning involving P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet consolidation, continuously refining forecasting methodologies.
• Oversee the creation and management of the annual budget and rolling re-forecasts, translating strategic objectives into actionable operating plans and funding allocations.
• Develop and monitor essential KPIs, incorporate them into BI dashboards, and proactively identify risks and operational levers.
• Assist with investor relations by preparing board reports, investor presentations, and supporting future funding initiatives.
• Construct and manage cohort analytics aligned with go-to-market strategies, evaluating retention, payback periods, LTV/CAC ratios, and channel-specific margins to optimize spend and channel mixes.
• Collaborate with commercial and service operations teams to evaluate unit economics, pricing strategies, conversion funnels, and investment decisions.
• Design and implement scalable financial processes leveraging AI and agent tools to enhance efficiency and repeatability in planning operations.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum five years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or related analytical finance positions, preferably within high-growth, VC-backed, or scaling environments.
• Expertise in financial modeling, capable of constructing and maintaining robust three-statement models with well-defended assumptions.
• Strong understanding of unit economics, recurring revenue models, and cash flow metrics, adept at transforming complex data into strategic decisions.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI, planning, and AI-based tools is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English and German, with investor and board communications primarily in English.
• A proactive, structured mindset comfortable with ambiguity and accountable for pioneering roles in a rapidly evolving company.
• An agentic approach embracing AI and automation to create scalable, reusable financial systems rather than manual, one-off solutions.
• Educational background in finance, business, or quantitative disciplines; additional certifications such as CFA, MBA, or accounting qualifications are beneficial.
