Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decisions by delivering insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role collaborates closely with business unit leaders to assess performance, spot trends, and drive sales growth, profitability, and enhanced efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and descriptive commentary.
• Assist in preparing and managing the Annual Operating Plan and forecasts for the region, ensuring alignment with global objectives and tracking variances throughout the year.
• Provide in-depth, precise financial performance analysis of the business unit covering revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability; work alongside commercial teams to review expenditures.
• Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process across the business unit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to comprehend drivers influencing business outcomes, supporting ongoing decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing actionable strategies for improvement.
• Support pricing strategies, cost evaluations, and investment appraisals for new initiatives and projects.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards to facilitate planning and business decisions.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Essential experience with SAP.
• Over three years of financial analysis experience, ideally within a commercial or business unit setting.
• Possession of a relevant tertiary degree and professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or Chartered Accountant.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
