Senior Engineer - Quality

Overview

This role is based in Reliance Carbon Fiber's Technical Services division as a Senior Engineer in Quality. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and bring 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in industrial quality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive compliance with quality system standards across the site.
• Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external quality audits effectively.
• Manage and update audit deviation and non-compliance databases along with the quality document register.
• Lead quality management reviews to address and resolve internal and external audit findings.
• Develop and sustain the organization’s Quality Handbook.
• Oversee a user-friendly document management system (DMS) on site.
• Conduct benchmarking exercises periodically and integrate best industrial practices for system enhancement.
• Introduce and implement innovative, lean methods to improve system efficiency.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws, company safety protocols, and environmental policies, reporting adherence levels.
• Identify and report deviations related to safety and statutory regulations, and suggest corrective improvements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical sciences from a respected university with a proven professional track record.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial quality management systems.
• Experience in developing quality management systems and working with accreditation agencies.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS) is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive and aerospace quality standards.
• Basic knowledge or exposure to World Class Manufacturing principles.
