Role Overview

The Senior Director will provide strategic oversight for ParEquity’s diverse portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s core philosophy. This position involves leading key business units, managing multi-disciplinary teams remotely, and steering projects to achieve sustainable and measurable outcomes. The role requires collaboration with executive and stakeholder teams to identify opportunities, conduct thorough due diligence and risk evaluation, and develop market entry and expansion strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set vision, goals, and strategic direction for business units within the portfolio.
• Oversee operational performance and support sustainable growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams remotely, fostering innovation and accountability.
• Review performance data and facilitate strategic planning meetings.
• Represent ParEquity in senior-level external engagements and partnerships.
• Mentor senior leadership to ensure effective execution of strategy.
• Promote a culture marked by inclusivity, ethical leadership, and high performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive senior leadership experience in investment, finance, private equity, or comparable sectors.
• Track record of strategic planning, portfolio oversight, and sustainable business development.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement, partnership cultivation, and executive communication.
• Experience managing diverse remote teams in dynamic environments.
• Knowledge of ESG principles, impact investing, or social enterprise is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with African or emerging markets is a plus.
• Advanced qualifications in business, finance, economics, or equivalent practical expertise preferred.
• Dedication to inclusive leadership, ethical decision-making, and community value creation.
