Role Summary
They seek a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Camberwell office, playing a pivotal technical role in shaping infrastructure and processes that support reliable, scalable products. This position is an individual contributor role featuring technical leadership without direct people management, focusing on mentoring and raising engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold development tools, infrastructure, and secure environments to ensure customer satisfaction with reliable software operations.
- Oversee system reliability, performance, and scalability by owning production monitoring and observability frameworks to uphold code quality and thoughtful engineering practices.
- Drive automation efforts by improving workflows, reducing technical debt, and streamlining development and release cycles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the Product Development team by reviewing code, sharing knowledge, and ensuring consistent design and performance standards.
Candidate Profile
- Proven senior-level experience with at least one leading cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, demonstrating a history of delivering scalable engineering solutions.
- Influential leadership through expertise and mentorship, capable of fostering quality and innovation without formal managerial responsibility.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with a calm, methodical approach during incidents, focusing on root cause analysis and durable technical solutions.
- Collaborative attitude with a growth mindset, emphasizing transparent communication and knowledge sharing across technical and business teams.
