The Creative Craft team collaborates closely with strategy, UX, and technology to transform ideas into engaging experiences across various channels and audiences. Role Overview

The Senior Copywriter partners with Art Directors, Strategy, Medical, and Client Service teams to produce creative output that is strategically informed and medically precise. This position leads concept ideation and copywriting across campaigns while providing mentorship to junior creatives. The Senior Copywriter ensures all content aligns with brand strategy, regulatory standards, and competitive insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Create persuasive written content that effectively conveys critical messages.
• Conduct comprehensive research and integrate relevant insights into deliverables.
• Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to maintain alignment throughout projects.
• Revise and enhance copy based on criticism and performance analytics.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of three years of copywriting experience in advertising, marketing, or creative agency settings.
• Competence in supporting messaging strategies and maintaining copy guidelines while understanding brand voice and healthcare compliance norms.
• Familiarity with the MLR/PRC review process and experience adapting content for regulated healthcare contexts, including ISI management, fair balance, and claims substantiation workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Strong, decisive problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience engaging clients within life sciences therapeutic areas such as dermatology, oncology, rare diseases, cardiovascular, and neurology.
• Positive attitude and comfort in incorporating AI tools regularly into work processes.
• A portfolio showcasing creative quality and detailed execution.
• Demonstrated quick learning ability and adaptability to new technologies and tools.

Compensation

The annual base salary ranges from CAD 80,000 to CAD 95,000. Final salary offers depend on factors such as work location, individual skills, education background, and previous professional experience.
