About the Role

Bread Agency is seeking a dynamic and inventive Senior Content Creator to join our growing team in Sydney. As specialists in social media storytelling, we value a passion for innovative content that captures attention and drives engagement. This position emphasizes both shooting and editing, ideally suited to someone enthusiastic about working behind the camera, exploring fresh filming methods, and producing polished edits aligned with platform-specific styles.

You'll work with devices ranging from iPhones and action cameras to drones and professional studio gear, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. Constantly refining your approach to angles, lighting, transitions, and editing techniques to elevate content is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the filming and editing of social, digital, and offline content for diverse clients and sectors.
• Transform creative briefs into compelling productions through expert use of lighting, camera movement, and editing, beyond just initial concepts.
• Operate across multiple formats and equipment, including smartphones, drones, action cameras, and studio setups.
• Organize and conduct shoots by choosing optimal locations, lighting, framing, audio, and camera techniques tailored to each assignment.
• Edit content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, integrating motion graphics, animations, sound design, and platform-native styles.
• Produce varied content types, from TikTok and Instagram Reels to YouTube videos, campaign materials, and extended formats.
• Continuously experiment with new filming and editing trends, tools, hooks, transitions, and social media dynamics to maintain cutting-edge output.
• Manage multiple brand projects simultaneously while maintaining superior creative quality.
• Ensure all content complies with brand standards, creative vision, and client deadlines.
• Contribute innovative ideas and fresh perspectives to clients, supporting both campaigns and ongoing content initiatives.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years' proven experience as a Content Creator specializing in social and digital media.
• Degree-level education in video production, editing, motion graphics, or related design fields preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for cutting, animating, and refining content.
• Deep understanding of social media trends and viral content mechanisms.
• Strong storytelling capabilities with an ability to create visually, emotionally, and strategically engaging content.
• Expertise in crafting short-form content such as Reels and TikToks featuring trending sounds and dynamic transitions.
• Adept at producing polished, longer-form brand stories, promotional videos, and campaigns.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control throughout the production process.
• Creative mindset with a strong sense of design, committed to delivering impactful content that drives results.
• Operational excellence and problem-solving skills that foster a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
• Skilled in shooting, framing, and lighting professional-quality footage using both smartphones and DSLR cameras.

Additional Information

Location and Workstyle: Based in Sydney, Bread Agency operates with a hybrid onsite model including 2–3 days weekly at the Surry Hills office, client locations, cafes, and galleries. Flexibility is supported for working remotely or on the go, provided work quality and deadlines are met and scheduling is coordinated.
