Senior Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to manage and supervise the execution of over 25 ongoing government construction projects, including public buildings. Reporting directly to the CEO and management, this role is based in Sector 53, Gurugram, with frequent visits to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily construction progress across multiple government building sites.
• Maintain constant communication with site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to track project status and resolve challenges promptly.
• Review and compile comprehensive daily progress reports from all sites.
• Ensure high-quality construction work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and mandated timelines.
• Perform regular site inspections to address any operational issues directly.
• Identify and promptly report any delays, shortages of materials, or manpower deficiencies with actionable recommendations to management.
• Oversee compliance with safety standards and government regulations at all sites.
• Coordinate efforts with architects and subcontractors as required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to site engineers regarding planning and execution.
• Escalate major issues to the CEO and senior leadership along with proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.); a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior supervisory capacity managing multiple sites.
• Prior experience handling government building projects is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering drawings, structural work, and field execution.
• Proven capability in managing multiple teams and sites concurrently.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Hindi.
