Senior Change Analyst

Role Overview

The Bureau of Meteorology is looking for a seasoned Organisational Change Management expert to join the Enterprise Change Team. This role is pivotal in advancing the bureau’s Strategy 2022-2027 by providing tailored change management support and specialized advice to executive sponsors, project and program managers, and supporting roles such as business analysts and communications professionals.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with change leads to nurture strong partnerships across business units and stakeholders ensuring thorough understanding of change impacts. They will devise and implement strategies aimed at promoting the adoption and long-term sustainability of innovative work processes introduced by project teams.

Additionally, this role involves organizing focused training sessions and delivering coaching grounded in the Prosci change management methodology to equip bureau leaders and teams with the skills required to lead and maintain effective change adoption practices.

Maintaining and refining the bureau’s change management framework, along with managing essential artefacts, tools, templates, and reporting responsibilities, will also be under the remit of this position.
