Role Overview

We seek a Senior Demand Business Development Manager to lead ConnectAd's demand growth efforts throughout the D/A/CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This senior commercial position focuses on promoting ConnectAd’s demand offerings to agencies and direct clients by managing and activating private marketplaces (PMPs), negotiating deals with agency groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and advertisers, and serving as a trusted partner in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level partnerships with agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and direct advertiser clients across D/A/CH.
• Advocate and sell ConnectAd’s demand-side products to agency and client stakeholders.
• Create and manage PMP and curated marketplace deals customized to client needs.
• Lead deal structuring and negotiation with agencies and direct advertisers.
• Convert ConnectAd’s supply and platform strengths into compelling commercial demand solutions.
• Coordinate with product, operations, and supply teams to ensure demand activation aligns with inventory availability.
• Represent ConnectAd at industry forums and in meetings with senior clients and agencies regionally.
• Analyze market trends and competition to uncover new demand growth prospects.
• Relay market intelligence to product and leadership to refine demand strategies.

Success Indicators

• Revenue growth from demand-side engagements within the D/A/CH agency and direct-client portfolio.
• PMP and curated marketplace revenue generation.
• Quantity and quality of newly established agency and direct client relationships.
• Activation of agency and holding company spend through ConnectAd’s platform.
• Pipeline robustness and conversion efficiency.
• Depth and strength of strategic relationships within agencies and direct clients regionally.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven substantial experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, DSP/agency partnerships, or digital media business development.
• Established network within German, Austrian, and Swiss agency holding groups, independent agencies, trading desks, and/or direct advertisers.
• Demonstrated successful track record closing revenue-generating demand partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of RTB, PMPs, curated marketplaces, deal IDs, DSPs, header bidding, and programmatic media buying.
• Excellent negotiation expertise and ability to communicate complex programmatic concepts into commercial benefits to senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with proactive ownership, adaptable to a fast-paced, independent SSP environment.
• Business-level proficiency in German and English (C1 level or higher).
