About the Role
The Service Academy is committed to fostering a culture of outstanding service and acknowledging those who provide exceptional care to patients and their colleagues. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join as a Senior Assistant Manager or Assistant Manager. This position plays a crucial role in developing recognition platforms, strengthening partnerships, and spearheading initiatives to enhance service culture organisation-wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee internal and external service awards by coordinating submissions, consolidating judging evidence, and ensuring fair scoring and smooth event management.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as HR and external parties to promote award participation and recognition programs.
- Plan and facilitate site visits to exemplary service organisations to provide learning opportunities and inspiration for service advocates.
- Support departmental activities including co-facilitating training, developing e-learning modules, and providing onsite coaching to embed service excellence in everyday operations.
- Lead improvement projects related to service award systems with a focus on automation and API integration.
Qualifications & Skills
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Learning & Development or a relevant discipline; professional certifications like ACTA or DDLP are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Three to five years of experience in learning and development, awards management, or stakeholder engagement roles.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the aptitude to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various levels of stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for service excellence and recognition with a keen attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to function independently while actively participating in a collaborative team setting.
