About the Role
Join our team as a Senior Architectural Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in bridging design and construction. You will coordinate with stakeholders across various disciplines to ensure architectural deliverables align with client needs, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication among clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring all architectural designs meet project objectives and compliance standards.
- Support the development of project designs, construction schedules, and execution plans through collaborative work with internal teams.
- Track and manage project progress by monitoring deadlines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring projects remain on target.
- Evaluate project documents such as specifications, tender responses, and technical drawings to aid in contract administration and procurement activities.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or challenges encountered on-site, including drawing inconsistencies, technical statements, and project correspondences.
- Conduct regular site visits to confirm construction activities adhere to approved architectural plans.
- Work closely with engineers and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve arising technical issues during the project.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all required architectural documents, shop drawings, material samples, and mockups for approval and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in architectural design and overseeing project coordination, especially within large-scale or building construction projects.
- Strong understanding of local construction regulations, building codes, and industry-standard safety procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and related tools is essential.
