General Purpose

The Senior Accountant role entails ensuring the precision and integrity of financial data aligned with accounting policies, standards, and regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing accounting operations, offering expert support and guidance, and enhancing financial processes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Examine and authorize journal entries and associated accounting transactions, confirming completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation.
Scrutinize payroll, employee benefits, revenue streams, and supplier transactions, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulations.
Compile and evaluate periodic financial statements, analyze data, and propose strategies for improved financial performance.
Investigate accounting inconsistencies or issues and implement necessary corrective measures.
Participate in budgeting activities, financial forecasting, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures.
Assist with both internal and external audits by supplying essential data and documentation.
Provide guidance and support to accounting personnel and coordinate efforts with related departments and external entities.
