Senior Accountant

Position Overview

Laxmi Trading & Company is looking for a capable Senior Accountant to become part of our proactive finance team. The candidate should bring at least three years of hands-on accounting experience with a firm grasp of taxation and GST regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities.
• Prepare and submit GST returns timely and accurately.
• Utilize Tally Prime software to maintain accounting records and process transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis and generate detailed reports.
• Ensure accounting practices adhere to prevailing standards and legal requirements.
• Support the development of financial statements as required.
• Manage tax-related responsibilities and correspond with relevant tax authorities when necessary.
• Maintain thorough and precise financial documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of taxation and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Proficient in GST filing processes and use of Tally Prime accounting software.
• Basic computer literacy with skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages.
