Overview

Join Snoonu as a Security Compliance Officer, where you will play a crucial role in leading security audits and supporting compliance initiatives. Your focus will be on ensuring that the company's policies, procedures, and controls meet regulatory and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and lead security audits including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and relevant regulatory reviews.
Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and internal teams during audits.
Gather, examine, and arrange audit evidence ensuring thoroughness and precision.
Monitor audit findings and non-conformance issues, overseeing remediation until resolved.
Assist with the development and upkeep of security policies, procedures, and controls.
Ensure adherence to applicable regulations like ISO 27001 and data protection laws.
Maintain compliance trackers, risk registers, and relevant audit documents.
Facilitate vendor risk evaluations and third-party compliance assessments.
Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee timely completion of compliance activities.
Promote awareness and effective communication regarding security policies and compliance obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

1 to 3 years of experience working in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance roles.
Practical experience supporting or managing security audits.
Basic knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.
Understanding of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regulations including Qatar's PDPPL and Kuwait's CITRA.
Strong organizational and project coordination expertise.
Proficient in managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring follow-ups.
Experience with handling documentation, audit evidence collection, and tracking tools.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Additional Skills

Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software tools.
Basic understanding of cloud computing environments such as AWS and GCP.
Pursuit or possession of relevant certifications like ISO 27001 Foundation or Lead Implementer, Security+, or CISA.
