Role Overview

This full-time, on-premises position based in Visakhapatnam requires a Script Writer to craft original scripts and screenplays for various digital formats including videos, web series, social media content, and branded campaigns, in alignment with the company's creative vision. Daily responsibilities involve generating concepts through brainstorming sessions with creative and production teams, drafting story outlines, composing dialogues and scene narratives, and refining scripts in response to feedback. The role demands close cooperation with directors, producers, and content creators to ensure scripts effectively translate into compelling visual narratives that connect with regional viewers. The scriptwriter must uphold consistency in tone and style across projects, adhere to production schedules, and contribute innovative ideas to elevate engagement and storytelling quality.

Qualifications

• Proficient in scriptwriting and scripting specifically tailored for digital and regional content.
• Experienced in structuring screenplays and narrative frameworks suited for video and web platforms.
• Skilled in crafting clear dialogues, engaging storylines, and content oriented towards target audiences.
• Understand video production processes and collaborate effectively with directors, editors, and production teams.
• Command over English and at least one South Indian regional language such as Telugu or Kannada to ensure culturally relevant narratives.
• Highly creative with meticulous attention to detail and capable of managing workload in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities for working alongside creators, influencers, and teams across functions.
• Preferred background includes experience in digital media, film, television, or advertising; degrees in Film, Media, Literature, or related subjects add advantage.
