About the Role
Lift Schools invites applications for the position of School Facilities Manager (Caretaker) at Lift Kingsley, located in Hounslow, London. This full-time, permanent contract role requires a motivated individual responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-functioning environment for the entire school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing site security and controlling access to the premises.
- Performing opening and closing duties daily according to a split shift schedule, which may include evening and weekend work.
- Serving as the primary key holder and responding promptly to emergency call-outs as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic understanding of building maintenance, repair tasks, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively.
- Effective communication skills combined with flexibility and a proactive mindset.
- Physical capability to perform manual duties related to the role.
- Previous experience in a comparable role is preferred but not mandatory.
