SAP Project Manager - S/4HANA Public Cloud Implementations

Role Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned SAP Project Manager specializing in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The role involves leading full lifecycle implementation projects, managing all aspects of project execution from planning to go-live and post-deployment support while ensuring adherence to SAP Activate methodology and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee complete SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation efforts.
• Enforce project governance aligned with SAP Activate methodology compliance.
• Lead requirement gathering, step workshops, and solution design discussions.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams including functional, technical, integration, data migration, and change management groups.
• Track project status regularly and report progress to executive leadership and steering committees.
• Engage and align stakeholders to business goals and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and address risks, issues, and interdependencies proactively.
• Supervise testing phases such as system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and readiness for go-live.
• Coordinate cutover planning, deployment, hypercare support, and formal project closure activities.
• Ensure high-quality delivery, consistent with industry best practices, and focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in SAP project management roles.
• Experience leading at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
• Proficient knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and cloud ERP deployment strategies.
• Experience managing SAP programs across global or multiple country environments.
• Strong abilities in project planning, budgeting, risk and vendor management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid Agile, and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as SAP Activate Project Manager.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile are advantageous.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Signavio tools.
• Domain knowledge in finance, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or human resources business processes is a plus.

Additional Information

The positions are available in multiple locations including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Gandhinagar with flexible work arrangements encompassing on-site, hybrid, and remote modes. Candidates must be graduates in relevant fields. The role requires handling cross-functional teams and ensuring delivery quality with high customer satisfaction.
