Samsara ELD Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Truck Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance our trucking safety efforts across operations in Canada and the USA. This position is based in Patiala with a hybrid work setup and requires professionals with substantial experience in transportation safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure drivers comply with Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements through active management and monitoring.
• Work extensively with fleet management systems like Samsara and Motive to maintain operational safety standards.
• Uphold regulatory compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Canadian transportation safety laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver qualification files, Hours of Service (HOS) records, and other safety documentation.
• Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions, audits, and compliance programs to promote fleet safety.
• Investigate safety incidents and collaborate on implementing corrective measures.
• Work closely with dispatch and fleet operations teams to enhance overall safety performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years’ experience specializing in trucking safety and compliance.
• Hands-on proficiency with Samsara and Motive platforms.
• Thorough understanding of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
• Experience supporting trucking operations within Canadian and/or USA markets.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-resolution abilities.
