Job Details

This position is a fixed-term contract lasting 11 months and is full-time based in the Taranaki Region. The role involves active engagement with grocery customers including major supermarket chains such as Woolworths, New World, and PAK'nSAVE, along with select liquor stores.

Responsibilities

• Regular visits to Woolworths, New World, PAK'nSAVE, and specific liquor outlets in Taranaki.
• Ensure product availability on shelves, accurate placement following planograms, and proper stock replenishment inclusive of FIFO rotation.
• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with store managers and key personnel.
• Implement promotional activities and in-store events to enhance brand exposure.
• Create and maintain tidy, effective displays that stimulate sales.
• Provide merchandising and customer support to the wider sales team as needed.
• Efficiently manage store visit schedules to guarantee consistent service.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid, clean New Zealand driver's license.
• A positive demeanor, energetic approach, and an authentic interest in sales and merchandising.
• Motivation to learn and progress within the position.
• Preferably residing in or near the Taranaki region.
• Between one to two years of experience in merchandising or retail-related duties.
• Capability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting stock and assembling displays.
