Role Overview
The Sales Director leads a diverse team composed of sales personnel, technical support, application specialists, and field product support to fulfill objectives aimed at enhancing customer loyalty across specified industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet sales and market share objectives for Caterpillar’s products within targeted industry segments or markets.
- Create and execute sales and marketing strategies alongside merchandising plans designed to meet business goals for company products and services.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by effectively managing product-related and commercial issues and overseeing service goodwill expenditures across all products in the industry segment.
- Identify sales opportunities, improve customer satisfaction, and foster stronger business relationships.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer-centric values and practices utilized to tailor customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Proficiency in understanding industry trends, regulatory requirements, and key issues, applying this expertise in varied circumstances.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Capable of analyzing situations accurately and making effective decisions through informed judgment.
- Effective Communication: Skilled in delivering and interpreting ideas clearly using appropriate communication methods.

Additional Information
- This role requires full-time onsite presence, five days a week, in Singapore.
