Key Duties

• Deliver prompt and friendly customer service by actively approaching customers to identify and fulfill their needs.
• Adhere to the Home Depot GET Model by greeting, engaging, and thanking customers in your department and providing basic assistance in adjacent departments.
• Promote and educate customers on services including Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services.
• Guide customers through selecting options ranging from basic to premium, suggesting complementary products or services to complete their projects.
• Maintain daily stock by ensuring products are well signed, properly displayed, and the area is clean.
• Continuously update product knowledge for your department and neighboring departments to provide comprehensive customer support.
• Follow all safety guidelines and loss prevention procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Work schedule may be flexible with possible evening and weekend shifts.
• Work conditions include a warehouse environment that can be noisy and dusty, with frequent opening of doors leading to drafts and temperature variations.
• The role involves physical activities such as bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience in retail or trade settings is preferred but not mandatory.
