Sales Assistant / Driver

Role overview

Crown Paints is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant / Driver for its Annesley Bridge store in Dublin 3. This position is 24 hours per week and offers pay at €14.15 per hour, along with a strong benefits package. The store team plays a central role in helping customers complete their projects, supporting local trade customers, and delivering a high-quality shopping experience.

What you will do

• Provide friendly and effective service to customers in the store and by phone.
• Prepare paint by mixing and tinting it according to customer needs.
• Drive the store vehicle to deliver stock to nearby locations.
• Handle sales transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Assist with stock management, incoming deliveries, and keeping the store in good condition.
• Develop customer relationships and help open new trade accounts.

Customer focus

The customer base includes DIY customers tackling weekend projects as well as professional decorators and builders who depend on the store regularly. A significant part of the job involves spotting potential new customers, building rapport, and converting them into active trade accounts.
