Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Revisor*in to join our team in Bonn on a full-time or part-time basis at the earliest opportunity. The role primarily involves conducting audit examinations of the German Research Foundation's funding and administrative budget, ensuring appropriate use of research funding, particularly through project audits and on-site evaluations at universities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive audit reviews within the funding and administrative budgets of the organization.
  • Verify compliance and correct application of allocated research funds, focusing on project audits and on-site inspections at academic institutions.
  • Analyze and evaluate internal processes from audit, legal, and business perspectives.
  • Process and examine reported cases requiring investigation.

Candidate Profile

  • Successfully completed academic university degree.
  • Professional experience in auditing or internal revision, ideally certified as an internal auditor, with preference for expertise in science or scientific management and financing of research projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to complex challenges, decisive mindset, quick comprehension, and high adaptability.
  • Diligent, responsible, and solution-focused working style.
  • Confident demeanor and strong communication abilities.
