Role Overview

The position of Retail Partner at Bajaj Life in Puri requires a full-time, on-site commitment with a focus on promoting and selling life insurance products directly to customers. Daily duties involve engaging walk-in clients and referrals, assessing their financial protection and investment needs, and recommending appropriate Bajaj Life insurance solutions. The role demands comprehensive product knowledge, the ability to clearly and compliantly explain policy attributes and advantages, and assisting customers throughout the application and documentation phases. Maintaining strong, long-term client relationships, supporting branch sales objectives, and collaborating with team members are key elements. Regular responsibilities include lead follow-ups, detailed record-keeping, and strict adherence to regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in retail sales with a focus on achieving or surpassing sales goals and converting inquiries into policy sales.
  • In-depth understanding and eagerness to learn about the features, benefits, and compliance requirements of various life insurance and investment products.
  • Strong customer service orientation employing a consultative approach to accurately identify and meet client needs.
  • Effective communication skills in English and applicable local languages, both verbal and written.
  • Prior exposure to retail financial services, insurance, banking, or similar industries is advantageous.
  • Minimum qualification of high school diploma; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related disciplines preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic branch environment, exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude.
  • Basic competency in digital tools and CRM or sales management software to handle customer data and follow-up processes.
